Who we are
Hi, my name is Todd Marshall and I'm the principal of Focus Mortgage & Finance. When I'm not helping clients source the best home, business and personal finance deals, I'm struggling through a gym session at BFT; chasing the Parkdale U19's footy team around as their Team Manager; or enjoying time with my wife Kathleen and son Ned.
And I love my job.
I love educating my clients on all things finance and finding ways to secure them great deals. I especially love calling my clients with the good news: "You've been approved for your home loan!!"

What we do
Focus Mortgage & Finance is a mortgage and finance brokerage. We work for you to secure home loans; commercial loans; personal loans; and asset finance. This includes finance to: - Purchase or refinance owner occupied residential property; - Purchase or refinance residential investment property; - Purchase or refinance land and / or construction;- Purchase personal or commercial assets;- Business setup or expansion.

The mission of Focus Mortgage & Finance is to simplify the mortgage and finance environment for our clients through the provision of tailored solutions based on appropriate analysis and considered advice and assistance.
In achieving this mission, we also strive to streamline the loan assessment process for lenders through the submission of well-presented and thoroughly prepared loan applications. For clients, we listen and clarify to ensure we act in your best interests. We maintain a thorough understanding of products and changing environmental effects to provide the best advice and guidance possible. With over 35 Banks & other lenders, Focus Mortgage & Finance provide choice and expert guidance around home loan and other finance solutions.
How we do it
We use our experience and knowledge to take the confusion out of mortgage and finance products and assist our clients to navigate the often complex mortgage and finance environment. We carefully listen to clients’ circumstances and requirements to quickly and effectively narrow the vast array of mortgage and finance products to a limited number that best suit the client. We provide informed, timely and considered, mortgage and finance advice and guidance across a range of products and circumstances from more standard mortgage arrangements to non-conforming and commercial finance. Our mortgage and finance experts help customers choose the right home loan at the best available interest rate. We then guide you through the application process, right through to settlement of your loan. Thereafter, we stay in contact and offer you a review after two years to make sure your loan is still the best available. Based in Victoria, we help clients Australia-wide.
